Packaging

Surrounded by the best craftsmen, Art Services offers solutions adapted to all types of needs depending on the type, nature, fragility and sensitivity of your works and precious objects. Our specialized teams come on site to see the works and define the most suitable modus operandi in terms of protection and handling:

    • Standard or reinforced packing
    • Tailor-made crates, including for « monumental » works
    • Temperature-controlled crates with interior insulation for the most sensitive works

The packaging thus produced guarantees optimal safety, as well as confidentiality and flawless speedy execution. All packaging offered by Art Services meet the international standards in force and ensure absolute respect for the objects transported.

Storage

Art Services owns several storage facilities spread over France. These facilities, highly secure and fully equipped, can accommodate your sensitive objects for short, medium or long periods of time.

As the storage of works of art and luxury goods requires specific measures to ensure the highest standards of conditioning and security, Art Services offers several levels of solutions:

  • Packaging and loading at the exhibition site, storage in one of our facilities while waiting for a reshipment request, then delivery, inventory, unpacking and on- demand installation
  • Long-term storage and permanent access to different objects (works of art, professional reserve, archives or liquidator’s property), reception, handling, inventory report and customs storage.

Transport

Art Services offers a range of tailor-made services to ensure that your irreplaceable works are moved in accordance with your deadlines and specific demands.

  • Transport by fine art trucks to offer specific moving conditions to sensitive pieces (alarm, air conditioning, hydraulic suspensions…)
  • Groupage lines to/from London and Switzerland
  • International Freight (air freight, total or partial tarmac supervision at departure and arrival…)
  • Shipping (all types of containers of 20 or 40 feet, high cube, reefer, groupage…)

Customs Warehouse

Art Services is granted the status of customs warehouse, which allows foreign artworks to be stationed within our premises in France without paying import taxes, for a given period of time.

Exhibition

Our showroom in the heart of Paris is available for viewings in complete confidentiality. We can organize private presentations for your experts and clients on your behalf.

Insurance

Art Services offers an « ad valorem » insurance cover, indexed to the value of your works. This policy allows you to transfer the risk of damage to an insurance company that compensates on the basis of the actual damage suffered instead, beyond a principle of accountability.
